How much does it cost to register for the Walk?
There is no charge at the time of registration however the Walk for Vision has a $60 walk fee that will be charged if $75 is not raised. Teams must raise $75 per team member to have the walk fee waived. If the $75 fundraising minimum is not met, a recommitment fee of $60 (walk fee) will be charged to your credit card.
Example 1) A team of 10 members needs to raise at least $750 dollars to waive the walk fee of all team members. Only 1 person on the team is successful in collecting funds and raises $1000. The entire team would then not have to pay the walk fee.
Example 2) An individual collects $30 in donations. This individual would then have their credit card charged $60.
Example 3) A team of 10 members raises only $600. This would mean that 8 team members would not have to pay the $60 fee and the other 2 will be charged the $60.
Coffee and bagels will be provided at the Royal Sonesta Cambridge before the walk. The schedule for the walk can be found
here.
