A Spirit Walk is set up by people who are unable to attend the Boston or NJ/NY walks. Spirit Walks take place in your own community or wherever you choose to walk. You register and fund raise the same as you would for any other walk.
Any one can! Register as a spirit walker if you are unable to attend the Boston or NJ/NY walks!
Do I still have a fundraising page if I am a Spirit Walker?
Yes! The only thing that makes a Spirit Walk different is that there is no designated place to have it! You get to choose.
How much does it cost to register to be a Spirit Walker?
There is payment due at the time of registration but there is a t-shirt fee. The per per person fee of $10 is waived if more than $30 is raised. If you fail to raise $30, a reconciliation fee of $10 will be charged to your credit card. Below are scenarios to clarify the fee waiving.
Example 1) A person raises only $25 before the day of their spirit walk. This person will then be charged the full $10 for the t-shirt.
Example 2) A team of 10 people need to raise $300 to have their t-shirt fees waived. If they only raise $240, 8 members of the team are waived of the t-shirt fee and 2 have to pay $30. The decision of who pays is made among the team.
Example 3) A team of 10 people needs to raise $300 to have their t-shirt fees waived. If only 1 person on the team has a successful fundraiser and raises $400, then the entire teams t-shirt fee will be waived.
